Altamar achieves an A+ rating in all the categories comprising United Nations PRI
ALTAMAR CAPITAL PARTNERS has obtained an A+ rating, the highest in the 2020 Assessment Report of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in all reported investment categories: Private Equity, Infrastructure, Fixed Income and Property, as well as in the Strategy & Governance section.
This recognition reflects that responsibility and sustainability are an essential part of ALTAMAR’s culture. “The integration of ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria is an essential element in Altamar’s culture. We work to consolidate best practices in sustainability in all areas of our activity, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We consider that a clear and transparent communication of our progress and achievements in this area is essential to forge solid and long-lasting relationships with our investors”, says Claudio Aguirre, Founding Partner, Chairman and Co-CEO of ALTAMAR.
As a PRI signatory since 2016, ALTAMAR has made a strong commitment in applying the six Principles for Responsible Investment. For this purpose, it has a corporate structure in ESG matters led by the firm’s top management and integrated by people from different areas of the Group. In order to strengthen and develop new sustainability initiatives, ALTAMAR establishes an Annual ESG Action Plan that incorporates measures aimed at promoting the integration of environmental, social and good governance (ESG) criteria both in the life of the organization as well as in its Sustainable and Responsible Investment processes.
